From the WASA Award:
Tyson Kane exemplifies leadership, integrity and work ethic at Mary Walker High School and in the Springdale community. A dedicated student, he holds high academic standards while balancing a demanding schedule as a three-sport athlete in football, wrestling and track and field.
Tyson has qualified for the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament in Tacoma the past two years. He also serves in ASB student leadership and participates in Washington State University Peer-to-Peer mentoring Program.
In the community, Tyson supports youth sports as a league official and trains daily at 5 a.m., modeling discipline, accountability and leadership that inspires others.
