Enrollment Information

Enrollment begins with an enrollment application, found on the Mary Walker website.  Once this is filled out, you can expect a phone call from the Secretary, Mrs. Rose.  She will make an appointment with the Parent/Guardian and Student for a meeting with the Principal, Mr. Amend, to look at what is the best educational pathway for your individual student.  ALE is is not the best choice for all students, but for some, it is the only choice that makes sense.  We strive to do what will optimize your future prospects and current living situation.

Upon approval of your Student into the ALE, a meeting will then be scheduled with the Teacher.  This meeting is required by law, to sign contracts and receive curriculum and a schedule.  You will leave this meeting having a good understanding of the Washington State laws and requirements of maintaining enrollment in an ALE.   

NOTE: If you reside within another school's jurisdiction, you will need to have the Choice process completed before enrollment can begin.
